Someone told me once that light blues bring out the color in your eye. I don't think it works for people with brown eyes like me.

 I actually forgot I had this top in my closet (happens all the time) and was kind of ify about pairing it with the black, I wasn't sure if it would look good, but i took a risk ( not a big one but i'm a small town girl so it is kind of a big one) and wore it nevertheless cause i like to be unique :)
Do you think it looks good?? :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BTW this is such a girly post. I tend to have those moments.
Story of my life though.. I can be a total girl with characteristics of a tom boy.
For example. My nickname when we lived on the farm was "Grace Kelly" cause I would go out into the field with the horses and cows in a skirt, with muder boots. (if you don't know what muders are.. look them up ;))
To this day I still have those moments. True story, i was at a wedding and I could hear some guys talking about tebow behind me so I turned around and started joining their conversation about football, some of their faces when i started spitting out football terminology was funny.
Guess that's my superpower, i can go from super girly to tomboy faster then you can say Chanel! lol.
Recovering
12:00 AM
I hate when we weekend goes by so fast :( it makes me wish for summer more and more now!
Friday - Didn't get home till 3am because of the midnight showing of the Hunger Games, but it was so worth it :)
then wen't to sleep hopeing i wouldn't have nightmares about trackerjakers.. again.. yes it has happened before.
Went to lunch then spent most of the afternoon working on my new lap top and getting everything situated :)
In the evening I crashed onto my futon. Exhaustion+ dehydration +no food within 7 hours = bad idea and spending the rest of the night laying on the futon re-hydrating.
Saturday - Went Canoeing with friends, quiet in adventure, especially when there are 3 girls in one canoe.
I've been gone
2:22 PM
~ Because my computer decided to say buy-bye this past monday.. (right after i finished a 700 word paper i might add), thank the Lord my sisters friend was over and was able to recover most of my documents and stuff.
Anywho I now have a new sparkaly laptop and...
NOW WE CAN TALK HUNGER GAMES!!!
(warning, don't read this if you haven't seen it)
Photobucket
Did you guys see it at midnight?? I sure did. I kept laughing though cause I heard more than 10 girls look at there friends and say "Have you read the books... I haven't?" Like, I can't imagine seeing this movie without reading the book but, its there choice i guess :)
Photobucket
And then when the preview trailer for twilight came on and just about every girl but my self freaked out. Including the middle age woman who decided to kick my chair like 5 times during the preview.LOL. Someone was a little excited. ;)
I was literally speechless when the movie started, speechless and in awe, Garry Ross did such a perfect job filming this movie, it was beyond amazing, I'll admit I had my doubts it was gonna be a tad cheesy. Um, no. It was not and I am ashamed to think that.
Photobucket
 Lets me state, I am for Peeta, always have been, always will be, but this movie actually made me like Gale also. When he takes Prim away, Ahhh! heartreching.
OK, I was seriously entranced in this movie, up until the cave scene. The most anticipate scene ever!
(prewarning you im gonna vent some on this post, its my blog and i can :) )
And people started laughing. I am not lying, started laughing.
I was about to slap someone, cause obliviously they hadn't read the book and do not rely the importance of this scene.
And if you haven't read the book thats fine, i'm not holding it against you but laughing at such a tender and important part puts you on the bounty list for all the true Hunger Games fans in there.
(not really but you might get some mean glares)
Ok venting over.
Did any of you'r hearts skip a beat when Peetas touched Katniss braid right before they went to eat the nightlock berries???? Mine did. Favorite part of the WHOLE THING! lol
Overall, the movie was just perfection, The cast was spot on and the story was 98% on the dot.
Now we have to wait a whole year for "Catching Fire"... Let the countdown begin!
BTW Check out my girl Cassidy's reaction to the movie :) AMEN GIRL AMEN!
Blogiversary
8:00 PM
Ok. Let it be stated. I am the WORST BLOGGER EVER!
Ok, maybe not the worst but still close.
I FORGOT ABOUT MY BLOGIVERSARY!!! Which was last Friday!!!
Oh my goodness people! I've been blogging for 3 years now! 3 years!
I can never say I haven't stuck or committed to anything for more than a year cause I've been blogging for 3 whole years!!! I mean that's pretty cool if I do say so myself.
I want to thank you guys for reading my blog and putting up with my randomness and sometimes meaningless posts, my posts of myself fangirling over the Hunger Games (mostly in Tumblr Thursdays),  about NASCAR, Mr.Tebow, and of course the posts you all enjoy the most, the ones about Jaxson and his adventures :)
I'd like to continue blogging for a while longer if you will let me? :) Hopefully when school dies down in the beginning of May I will be able to go back to more interesting posts. And I'd also like to spruce up the blog design a bit with some new photos... if i can get my sweet photography friend to take some.. *hint hint*
Sorry I was so disorganized this year and didn't get to put together a post full of fun giveaways for you, my awesome reader!
(but if you'd like to donate a giveaway in honor of my blogiversary feel free to shoot me a tweet or email ;) )
Thanks SO MUCH again you guys for your comments and support, you keep me bloggin!
Pandemonium
12:00 AM
WARNING:
If you have not read or have yet to read "Pandemonium" (or the first book, Delirium), you might want to skip this post. It is full of spoilers and just me ranting about the amazing/crazy/insane Lauren Oliver and her book.
Pandemonium Pictures, Images and Photos
Monday, March 11th, 1:05am
So I'm supposed to be asleep right now. But I feel as though I need to write my feelings about "Pandemonium" before I forget them in sleepy land.
Let me be honest. I took me 2 days before I could really get into reading this book. I think it was the fact that Lauren Oliver teases me by never giving me a straight anwser whether or not Alex was alive or dead.
Let it be made clear, I am all for Alex, If I had to chose between Peeta or Alex, it would be a tie, that is how much I like the character.
Anyway, I kept reading Lena's attempt at getting used to being in the "wild".
By the middle of the book I was slowly falling for the new love interest, Julian, I mean, Lauren Oliver did a great job creating a new love interest that was almost as good as the one in "Delirium". I'm still on "team Alex" but seeing that I STILL did not know whether he was alive or not, I came to the realization that i should just start liking Julian.
By the end of the book, I was so pulled in to the story and character that I stayed up till 1am to finish the book. And everything was hunky dory till that LAST PAGE.
  SPOILER ALERT
I mean, COME ON. Here I was, saying "Ok, I like Julian, I can deal with him and the fact that Alex is dead"
THEN!
DUH DUH DUNNNNN
Lauren Oliver brings Alex BACK TO LIFE.
I literally had a heart attach.. Ask my dog. He watched me all of a sudden go from a calm state to total freakout.
Now don't get me wrong. I LOVED LOVED this book. It took me a while to get into but I was eventually hooked. I CANNOT wait for the 3rd book. I just can't believe we have to wait till 2013. Crazyness.
Favorite quote from the book -
“I wonder if this is how people always get close: they heal each other's wounds; they repair the broken skin.”
Read
7:38 PM
As stated before on this blog. I am a bookie. I haven't always been but within the past year or so i can't seem to live with out having something to read. And of course I love sharing my recent book finds with you all :) So here are some of my recent favorites!
Beautiful Creatures Pictures, Images and Photos
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl
I'm on the 3rd of this amazing series called the "Caster Chronicles". Beautiful Creatures is the 1st of this awesome series. I started reading it when I saw that it was going to be made into a movie and when I saw Cassidy raving about them on her videos, so I thought I'd give them a whirl. I wasn't disappointed. I haven't been able to put on of these books down! Its like TMI (The Mortal Instruments) all over again, different story but just as addicting to read! And to be honest I adore these charters 10x more then TMI.
I give the "Beautiful Creatures" and the entire "Caster Chronicles" series 10 out of 10!
Shiver - Maggie Stiefvater Pictures, Images and Photos
Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls Trilogy) by Maggie Stiefvater
I read this book while I was traveling between Florida and Maryland last month. And when I finished it one night at my grandparents house I couldn't wait to get back and finish the last 2 books. I wasn't sure at first because its seemed like Twilight but the "Jacob" version. But the story grew on my and the charters and their relationships. Its definitely not the most unique or creative story seeing almost everything nowadays is about werewolves and vampires but its still written great and keeps you interested and wanting more.
I give "The Wolves of Mercy Falls" trilogy 8 out of 10
The Scorpio Races Pictures, Images and Photos
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
Maggive Stiefvater kept me reading with her Mercy Falls Trilogy, but she blew my mind away with Scorpio races! I am a horse lover so naturally I'm gonna enjoy any book involving horses but this story was SO unique and amazing I couldn't put it down for the life of me. Besides some run on details this book was amazing!
I give "Scorpio Races" 9 out of 10
Across the Universe by Beth Revis Pictures, Images and Photos
Across the Universe by Beth Revis
This story is so out there, in a good way of course. I believe I finished it within a weekend during my winter break. I would just sit down to read for like 10 minuets and then 2 hours went by that's how sucked into this book I got. Its one of those story's that has you wanting to read more. I can't wait to get the 2nd "A million suns" which just recently came out and I'm waiting patiently for my local library to get it for me
. Soon, so soon I will be continuing this awesome story!
I give "Across the Universe" 9 our of 10!
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green - January 10th 2012 Pictures, Images and Photos
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
I'm so cheep that I wait for my local library to get new books. Which sometimes takes forever! But, as soon as I saw they had this I put it on hold and within a few days I had it in my hands. And I finished it within 2 days! That hasn't happened since I read "Catching Fire" for the first time. So that says a lot.
 When I first started reading it I wasn't expecting much to be honest, the story line is kind of original.Boy was I bat crazy to think that! I don't know what power John Green possess but to be able to take such a simple story line and make it into this beautiful story that makes me laugh out loud and then makes me sad just blows my mind. I wanted to highlight so many quotes so bad! To bad it was a library book and I can't do that ;p
Out of all the books I just reviews I suggest reading this one first
! Its AMAZING and perfection!
I give "The Fault In Our Stars" 10 out of 10.
You can always check out what I'm reading over on my goodreads account. I update it all the time :)
