Weekend WrapUP

11:44 AM

When did weekends become so quick. I feel like when you become an adult your weekends feel 10x shorter. Maybe because I have little to no time during the week to do anything besides school and work that come the weekend I try to cram as much fun (or non fun) stuff as I can.

Friday night started my weekend. And what would any bookie do this past Friday night. Go see (and drag their husband) to see Divergent. (though I'm gonna take the last statement back, my husband actually wanted to see it too)
BTW I want to write a whole bookie review on the movie. But TRUST me it will be super positive.;)

Saturday consisted of cleaning (ew). Lunch with family. Shopping and Dinner date with the Hubby (YAY)

Sunday we headed to O'Town for an Atlanta Braves spring training game. Holy Crowded. But was fun nevertheless.

I never get tired of people watching. It's probably because I'm such and introvert that watching other people act in such loud and exuberant fashion (mostly from alcohol). And trust me I had more fun people watching then actually watching the game at some points

Garden Atempt

11:41 AM

I grew up on a farm. And on that farm we did have animals but my mom also planted an amazing garden every year. I enjoyed gardening with my mom (that i remember). The planting and weeding parts I didn't really enjoy but come harvest time I loved it. I have a couple memories of walking down hill to the garden and getting some lettuce for dinner and one year we grew corn and it was taller then me.

Now, I am no longer a little girl, and I don't live on a farm with 5 acres. However, I am married, live in my own little house with my husband and have an amazing perfect sized backyard.
So I did what every normal girl does when she has an idea to start something. I started a pinterest bored. Showed my husband and we got to planning.

He took care of making raised beds for me. He worked all day one Saturday and got them prepped and ready for the next weekend for me to start planting.

The result!

(excuse the lenses flare :P)

So, I am going to attempt to grow a successful garden this year. *crosses fingers* I notice the other day the boxes don't get as much sun as I thought they would, but we will see. Though I am starting to see little green things poping up in the soil.

My little herb gardens are going well though. So here's hoping!
