I grew up on a farm. And on that farm we did have animals but my mom also planted an amazing garden every year. I enjoyed gardening with my mom (that i remember). The planting and weeding parts I didn't really enjoy but come harvest time I loved it. I have a couple memories of walking down hill to the garden and getting some lettuce for dinner and one year we grew corn and it was taller then me.

Now, I am no longer a little girl, and I don't live on a farm with 5 acres. However, I am married, live in my own little house with my husband and have an amazing perfect sized backyard.
So I did what every normal girl does when she has an idea to start something. I started a pinterest bored. Showed my husband and we got to planning.

He took care of making raised beds for me. He worked all day one Saturday and got them prepped and ready for the next weekend for me to start planting.

So, I am going to attempt to grow a successful garden this year. *crosses fingers* I notice the other day the boxes don't get as much sun as I thought they would, but we will see. Though I am starting to see little green things poping up in the soil.

My little herb gardens are going well though. So here's hoping!
