Thanks

This Saturday will mark 2 years since I started dating my husband and the 23rd of November will mark 1 year of being married to him. Last year, around this time, I wrote a sweet post to my husband and I would like to do that again.

BTW if you'd like to read the short story of how we met, check out that post ::here::

Dear Stephen,
Thank you for your love. Thank you for working so hard for us so that we can have nice things and healthy food for our table. Thank you for letting me cry and express my feelings (a lot) a month into our marriage, as I was overwhelmed. Thank you for being honest with me even though sometimes I don't want to hear it. Thank you for eating (even though you protest) the secret Tofu I substitute for Ricotta Cheese in my lasagna. Thank you for bringing me home flowers when I'm not suspecting. Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you letting me talk your ear off when the lights are off and we are in bed (even though I know you fall asleep after a while). Thank you for making me laugh and always trying to make me smile. Thank you for your support and trusting heart when I feel God is leading myself or us somewhere. Thank you for believing with me that God can provide. Thank you (even though you complain) for putting my dishes in the dishwasher and putting them away when they are clean. Thank you for putting up with my need to Google every illness I have and have been going through. Thank you for telling me it will be ok, especially these past couple months when my body has taken a beating. Thank you for buying us Disney passes ;)
And most of all. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and with all your heart.

Yours forever and always,
Samantha

  1. Happy Anniversary! Love this idea! We, as women and wives, should share the great things about our partners more often. It is good for the heart.
