In about a week, 3 of my best friends will be in town! I'm bubling with excitement.
They haven't been to Florida in about 5 years. So there super excited to see our new house. And one of them wants a picture with our palm tree :)
We've been up to see them in Maryland but now its there turn to see us in Florida.
There will be a lot of laughing, reminiscing, and more laughter.

You may not know this, But I'm a HUGE country girl at heart.
I was raised on a farm for 4 years ( most of my childhood). Hence the white horse in the picture below, he was ours ;). We also had, 30 some chickens, 4 cows, a couple"borrowed" pony's from my riding teacher,1 donkey, and 2 rabbits.
Anyway, living on a farm wasn't the only thing that made me a country girl
( though it did toughen me up a little bit, i can, not proudly, say that I've steeped in so much poo, that poo, from any type of animal doesn't bug me at all...)
I grew up watching NASCAR, and some of my favorite memories are belting out country songs on the radio with my mom. I also love plaid tops (see picture below) and fashion cowgirl boots ( though i don't own a pair). I still have my cow girl hat we bought at an auction and I believe I started the trend of weird boots with skirts ( but mine were mutter boots).
Looking at me, you wouldn't know all this. But I think that's in the fun of making friends, your always finding out something new.

2. Taking Funny Pictures : "Look who has our back" :)
3. Doing Yoga to Michael Buble': I know this is much different from the last 2 Favorite things but I love to do Yoga before I go to bed while listening to Michael Buble' ;)

This face, this cute innocent face, couldn't do much damage could he? Well he can.
My youngest pup decided that after the neighborhood turkeys left the yard this morning that he would go roll in the little "presents" they left in our yard. Lovely.
So after taking a nice shower and feeling squeaky clean. I spent 20min with a hose and shampoo getting Turkey poo off my dog.
It was such a terrible sight that I didn't dare take a picture
Ahh.. Christ blessed us with a truly "unique" dog
“Why put yourself in any situations where the line’s become smudged and obscure? Why accept the pressure of tremendous temptation when you can easily avoid it by refusing to be anywhere compromise is possible”.

I've been wondering about that lately.
I just finished reading Passion and Purity ( so recommend it! ). And I wonder why I tend to do some things that put me in a situation I regret later. Something as simple as sitting next to a "guy friend" and you get those looks from other girls. Instead of just simply saying no (in your head of course :P ) and sitting with a friend, you put yourself right into a situation, you may not regret at the moment, but when you get to think about it, you wish you never even thought of sitting next to "him". Sometimes I wish I could just sit next to "him" and not have to battle looks, glances, and the occasional distractions.
I wish He could just sit next to me then everyone would be perfectly content know He loves me and its obvious and no one would assume.
But, who said life is fair, He makes it a challenge to see how much i really do love Him. He knows I'll sit next to "him" and He asks "Where will I sit with you?"
Even with my girlfriends I find Him asking, "Where will I sit "
In today's world, its "who likes who", "who's sitting with whom" , " he/she said this" "that's what she said" all the time.
Do we ever think " He must love her/him" "Look where He sat with him/her
"He said this about her/him" "That what He said about her."
I wonder that if I sat more with Him, I wouldn't be worried about "smudging or crossing the line, or even the pressure of temptation".

SO I actually have something to blog about! I'm so happy.
I had a truly blessed weekend, one i wont forget. Some of you may not know but I'm a HUGE NASCAR fan. You wouldn't know till you watch a race with me. I've grown up with it and the best 2 years it has really grown on me :).
So for those that who aren't familiar with NASCAR. There are 3 races, a Truck race, Nationwide (100 laps) and a Sprint ( which is the biggest of the 3 and has more laps, it depends on the track)
I was able to go to both the Nationwide and the Sprint.
Friday night was the Nationwide. I was so excited I really didn't care what I looked like so please excuse my "sweaty lookingness" in the pictures :P
I was so stoked because I was sitting right across from my favorite driver, Carl Edwards, pit!
I had such a good time that I could wait for the Sprint race the next day.
It was a tad more crowded then the Nationwide, which I didn't mind at all, i was just so excited to be there.
We were a little farther then we sat the night before but that payed off at the end of the race
( which you'll read about in a minuet)
Who needs a 42" t.v when you can have one the size of your house!
A little God Sighting
Ok, So you probably wondering.
"What was so great about the end?"
Now NASCAR is known for having some good wrecks and there pretty cool to see on t.v. But in person, there 10 times better! I of course, me being the weird person that i am, thought "I don't need to video the last lap, nothin huge will happen" well something did! There was a huge wreck right in front of out stands! and i mean huge.
Don't believe me? ;) check out the video from TNT that was broadcasting the race last night
(at 0:30 is where we were)
Of course not all of it was cool. Seeing that one of the drivers (#20) that crashed in-front of us is only 2 years older then I am, it was a bit scary. We were so happy to see that no one was hurt.
So this weekend will ALWAYS be one I will never forget!

I apologize for the lack in blogging.
1. I've been busy since last week with VBS
2. Well, i just haven't had the motivation to blog :)
So I am not 16 and proud to say never been kissed :)
I spent the first part of my b-day with over 70+ kids at VBS. Whoooo...lol I love it though.
After that I just had a small little party, nothing big just 3 of my friends over for a little afternoon cook out and swim.
My mom went out while i was at VBS in the morning and got 16 Lolly pops, 16 kit-kat and recces cups , 16 now and laters , and tons of cool nail files
We played the best party game ever invented :) Sad to say though i didn't win..
My friend made me the best card ever
I had the coolest sweet 16 ever :)
