Ever have that moment when you find that one picture that take you back to the age when the picture was taken. When drama consisted of who gets to play with what doll and sisters getting along. Were you didn't care who liked who and laughed when you found out a boy liked you and thought nothing more about it. All you cared about was your friends and who they are and not what they thought of you. You dreamed about the future know that it would get better not knowing though that it might not be peachy keen all the time. Simple multiplication was SUPER hard and you didn't even know what the Pythagorean therm was. You wished to be a teenager because they looked like they had it all but in reality they wanted to be your age again.

"You can go through life and make new friends every year - every month practically - but there was never any substitute for those friendships of childhood that survive into adult years. Those are the ones in which we are bound to one another with hoops of steel."
Alexander McCall Smith

P.S if your trying to figure out which one is me in the picture.... I'm in the pink outfit

  1. Aw, Samantha, that is a GREAT post. I know what you mean. Sometimes I look back at childhood and think, wow, it was all so simple back then. :-) Growing up is really an adventure, isn't it?
Hope you are having a good week so far.
    Love ya!
